Keyoshia earned her Bachelor’s degree from Elizabeth City State University in Psychology, a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and is finishing her doctorate at Capella University in Counselor Education and Supervision. Keyoshia is a Virginia Board-approved Resident in Counseling. She is also a Licensed School Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate in North Carolina. Keyoshia is a mother of two and enjoys being a voice for her clients. Keyoshia has over six years of experience working with all age populations, from children to adults, including at-risk youth. She recently added the certification of certified youth mental health first aid. Keyoshia’s specialties are assisting children, teens, and adults via individual counseling, group counseling, psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, behavior modification, mindfulness/relaxation, stress management, communication skills, and substance abuse counseling. Keyoshia’s treatment method depends on the individual, and she believes in finding the best treatment for the individual.

Keyoshia believes in providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore the senses themselves, providing support and unbiased feedback, and offering techniques that the client can utilize. She believes that counseling can change an individual’s life for the better.
